In the U.S., April is National Parkinson’s Awareness Month. Parkinson’s disease is a degenerative disorder that affects an individual’s ability to control their movement. Symptoms include tremors, slowed movement, rigid muscles and speech changes, just to list a few. Parkinson’s disease is rarely seen in young adults and is most prevalent in people age 60 and older. 
In addition to April being Parkinson’s Awareness Month in the U.S., April has also been acknowledged as Stress Awareness Month. One major contributing factor to stress can be your work. Even after signing off for the day, you may continue to experience feelings of dread, anxiety or other ill feelings that can result from stress.
